Kololi Sands has welcomed it’s first owners in August 2023
Kololi Sands is located within the grounds of Kololi Beach Resort and has an ideal beach front setting. It is only a short walk away from the major tourist area of The Gambia with a multitude of restaurants, shops, banks, bars and more. The International Conference Center is adjacent to us. The International Airport (BJL) is 25 minutes away, likewise is the capital Banjul. Due to its location Kololi Sands is ideal for both business and leisure stays.
Construction started in 2020 and the complex comprises of apartments & studios. The main feature of all 136 studios and 1 and 2 bedroom apartments are the large balconies and patio’s. Outside living is such a joy in The Gambia. Some studios or apartments have extra features such as a swim up pool, a garden, or breath-taking Ocean views.
Within the inner garden of Kololi Sands you find Bistro Sands (opening in September 2023), serving breakfast, lunch, cocktails and dinners. The menu is contemporary and offers a variety of healthy (vegetarian) options, to a comforting steak and home cooked pasta. From the Bistro you will enjoy the views of the Ocean and the infinity pools, with an upper level to lounge under the stars.
Apart from the private swim-up pools, the pool area consist of 2 adult pools and 2 paddle pools for the younger generation. On the pool deck you can relax on a sun lounger and a path – through the pool – leads to the sandy beach with umbrellas and sun loungers. Bistro Sands offers waiter service around the pool and on the beach.
The majority of the ground floor apartments have their own garden. The inner courtyard of Kololi Sands is a green zone with grass, palm and other trees. Part of the garden is dedicated to healthy lifestyle with some outdoor fitness equipment (to be installed by October 2023)
At the entrance of the complex you will find the central reception for guest of both Kololi Beach Resort and Kololi Sands and is open from 8.30am to 23.30pm. Outside these hours check-in is still possible with prior notice given. Check-in is possible from 2pm onwards, and check out is latest 12noon.
Adjacent to the reception you find the private parking, for residents of Kololi Beach and Kololi Sands. A 24/7 security team is on site whilst CCTV is operational for the public areas and entrances. A back up generator is on site in case of power outages. The gardens are irrigated using grey water.
Kololi Sands is perfect for permanent living or as a holiday home and especially to enjoy beach side living. What really stands out are the large balconies & terraces and the number of apartments enjoying a sea view, a top priority for not only holidaymakers.
